Are you penny-pinching on your dollars but are secretly wanting and desiring a netbook of your own. No worries, because you can have a netbook through AT&T. The best thing about it is that you can have a netbook for as little as $49.99.
The only catch is that the netbook is bundled with any of AT&T’s two-year cellular data plan. Already there’s already a limited trial run in Atlanta and Philadelphia, where some company-owned AT&T stores will offer mini-laptops. AT&T had initially signed a netbook deal with the Acer Aspire One, selling it for only $99 with a $60 per month DataConnect 3G and AT&T Wi-Fi service plan.
So, should you go with AT&T in its netbook plan? Read the rest of this entry »

So, is it a netbook or a notebook? Fans of both the netbook and the notebook might just pull this new computer to their side because, quite simply, it defies categorization. The combination of it’s processor, price, and size actually puts it happily in the middle ground of netbook and notebook.
It’s the actually the first mini me computer to feature AMD’s Athlon Neo 1.6GHz MV-40 processor or what was formerly known as AMD’s Yukon. With this new processor, HP hopes to move netbooks up a notch in terms of performance. With the Intel Atom processor, which is being used in most netbooks today, a netbook cannot operate with Vista. Neither can it play PC games nor is it possible to play HD videos. Read the rest of this entry »

When netbooks first launched there was only really 1 type, and that was the Asus Eee PC netbook. It was tiny, simple, and very cheap. This netbook has actually been singled out as the netbook that started the whole craze and actually created a new market. However, since then almost every single manufacturer (Acer, Samsung, HP, Dell, Toshiba, LG, Lenovo, and MSI) have launched their own netbooks to try and capture some of this monumental market growth. The only significant manufacturer who has not yet created a dedicated netbook, is Apple, but that may also change.
Although so many manufacturers entering the market is a good thing as it creates competition ensuring that netbooks keep progressing technologically, as well as prices remain low, it has also lead to a lot of customer confusion as to how to choose a netbook. This is where comparing netbooks comes in. Read the rest of this entry »

Sony’s little wonder machine is a real jack of all trades in the electronic entertainment field-there really isn’t too much that it can’t do but I’ve noticed that out of all my friends that have PSP’s, not one person uses it for movies! I found this a little odd, until I realised that none of them know how to do it! It’s not as hard as people seem to think so hopefully once you’ve read this article you’ll know how to put videos on PSP, and I can get my friends to look at this article instead of asking me questions all the time!
The first thing that stops most people from finding out how to put videos on PSP is they don’t have enough free memory-You are going to need to buy as big a memory stick as you can afford-512mb is going to be the bare minimum here.
The second essential is to have a computer handy which you can link to the PSP via a USB cable. An internet connection will be useful too, but is not essential unless there are things you need to download.
1-Connect the computer and the PSP together, making sure that the PSP is switched off to begin with, and switch the PSP on once the connection is made. Read the rest of this entry »
